"For He bruises, but He binds up.
He wounds, but His hands make whole."
(Job 5:18)
Job's friend attributes both Job's pain, AND his eventual release from pain completely to God. He says to trust that the beating, the brokenness, will be healed and that is has a purpose.
"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." ~Psalm 73:26
